A Phonics Adventure.

Dear Readers,

I’m thrilled to share a recent endeavor that has been brewing in my teaching journey— “The Lost Letters: A Phonics Adventure.” This online resource is crafted to nurture language skills in the early stages of general basic education, specifically in Preschool and First Grade.

“The Lost Letters: A Phonics Adventure” unfolds a delightful story of two heroic letters, T and E, on a mission to restore voices to voiceless letters in a mysterious jungle. I’ve had the pleasure of implementing the first stage, “Let’s meet our heroes,” with first-grade students at Escuela Caimitos de Florencia.

Each stage of this adventure is meticulously designed to be completed in two lessons, providing a gradual and effective immersion into the world of phonetics. The activity is categorized as a “Controlled activity” in initial interactions, offering a guided approach to language skill development.

This initiative is tailored for early education, aiming to lay a robust foundation for English acquisition in Preschool and First Grade. The first stage of the resource, along with details of its application at Escuela Caimitos de Florencia, is available right here.

IMPLEMENTATION OF FIRST STAGE.
